Hey there — I’m James, the creator behind Dagger Development.
Born in Sonoma County, California in the late ‘80s, I grew up during the rise of personal computing. My school donated a Macintosh when I was a kid, and that gift changed everything. I spent countless hours exploring, tinkering, and learning what made computers tick. By high school, I’d already built my first PC from scratch and was deep into classic games like Tibia, StarCraft, and Command & Conquer — the early sparks that fueled my lifelong fascination with technology, creativity, and strategy.
My professional journey hasn’t been a straight line — and that’s exactly what makes it interesting. I spent five years as an EMT, four years in private security, and over seven years in knife manufacturing, where precision, discipline, and process mattered. Through it all, I stayed close to computers, driven by curiosity and the desire to create.
That passion has evolved into a mission: to become a solo iOS developer and bring ideas to life through clean, functional, and visually compelling apps. I’m currently focused on mastering Swift, Python, and modern web technologies, blending technical skill with creative problem-solving to craft digital tools that feel personal, purposeful, and built with heart.
