Overview
This policy applies to CampKeep. CampKeep is designed as a private, on-device campsite journal. Dagger Development does not operate a CampKeep journal account, advertising network, public profile, public review service, or social feed.
Your journal data
Campground names, campsite numbers, dates, ratings, notes, favorites, stay-again choices, saved coordinates, and photos are stored locally on your device. Dagger Development does not receive or store this journal content on its servers.
Location, photos, and camera
- Location access is optional and is requested only so you can capture the campsite you choose to save.
- You can create and save a trip without granting location access.
- Photos and camera access are used only when you choose or take trip photos.
- CampKeep does not continuously track your location.
Purchases
Apple processes CampKeep Lifetime purchases. CampKeep uses RevenueCat to validate purchases and restore the Lifetime entitlement. For that purpose, RevenueCat may process an app-specific user identifier, transaction and product information, entitlement status, and limited app or device metadata. CampKeep does not send your campsite journal, photos, notes, or precise saved coordinates to RevenueCat.
RevenueCat’s privacy policy is available at revenuecat.com/privacy. Apple’s privacy information is available at apple.com/legal/privacy.
Exports and sharing
CampKeep creates a file or image only when you choose to export, back up, or share. You decide where that item is sent or saved. Shared trip images begin with location and campsite number hidden, and GPS coordinates are not included in the share image. Backup files remain wherever you choose to store them.
Analytics and advertising
CampKeep does not include advertising SDKs or third-party behavior analytics. Purchase-validation data described above is used to provide and restore CampKeep Lifetime, not for advertising.
Retention and deletion
You can edit or permanently delete trips and their saved photos in CampKeep. Removing the app deletes local app data from that device, subject to normal device backups managed by you or Apple. Files you exported remain in the locations where you saved or shared them.
Children’s privacy
CampKeep is not directed to children under 13. Dagger Development does not knowingly collect children’s campsite journal content.
Changes
If CampKeep’s data practices change, this policy will be updated before or when the change takes effect, and the “Last updated” date will be revised.
